Determining your face shape
The face shapes can be roughly divided into 4 types. The most easiest way to know what face shape you have is pull your hair back, take an eyeliner or lip pencil, look in the mirror, and trace the outline of your face. Your face shape should fall one of the following categories: oval face, round face, square face, and heart face.
Oval shaped face
A face shape considered oval if the length is longer than width, and the jawline is only slightly narrower than the hairline. An oval face shape has no prominent points or angles. This face shape is considered to be the most versatile for hairstyles, as it it well-balanced and evenly proportioned, so feel free to experiment.
Round shaped face
Round shaped faces are the same in width and length, with no prominent angles or corners. They have rounded chin and plump cheeks. Round faces are usually "baby-faces," which means you look younger and can opt for more youthful hairstyles.
Square shaped face
Square-shaped faces are wide, and the forehead, cheekbones, and jawline are almost the same width. The strong jawline is a prominent feature of square-shaped faces.
Heart shaped face
Just like a heart that you would draw out, a heart-shaped face is wider at the hairline and temples and tapers to a small, narrow chin, that is slightly pointed. Your forehead may be a prominent feature, and if you have a heart-shaped face, you likely also have killer cheekbones.

Long hair : Make curls to avoid elongating your face
To avoid elongating your face, don't straight your hair and make curls or waves to make volume at side. If you have straight hair, I would recommend to get digital perm to have natural waves and movement on your hair. Also try width bangs, which look great on oval faces to frame your face and achieve a balancing effect.

Bangs : Accentuate vertical line
Thin and narrow bangs to accentual vertical line is great for round faces. If you don't have bangs, try center part or push your hair up to avoid looks too young.
Short hair : Make a diamond shape and long bangs
When styling a round face, your main goal is to elongate the face and make it appear more oval. A quick trick to doing this is to always leave a little piece of hair untucked on one side of your face. This will visually shorten the width of your face and tricks the eye into thinking your face is narrower. Also long bangs have elongate effect. Thiner texture of bangs makes your face cleared.
Medium hair : Elongate the face with hairstyle
Always medium hair have effect to make elongate the face, which needed for round faces. If you have layers, will be more lighter and visually shorten the width of your face. Center part bangs also emphasizes vertical line.

If you'd like to de-enhance the squareness, try some narrow and soft, wispy bangs falling to the side to create diagonal lines and soften the lines on your face. If you'd like to enhance your face shape, go for some blunt bangs or a short bob to really show off that strong jawline.

It will be cool style if you don't make bangs. Try to make soft curl on the side of hair to accentuate horizontal line to make balance with face shape.
